Join us for the GGA Fall Workshop on Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th, 2026, in Peachtree City, Georgia.
This day and a half workshop will feature hands-on training, expert-led presentations, and networking opportunities focused on the latest GIS technologies and workflows. Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of tracks designed for different experience levels and areas of interest.
Whether you are looking to strengthen your data management skills, explore AI and automation, build web and mobile applications, or get started with QGIS and data editing, this workshop offers valuable learning opportunities for GIS professionals across all sectors.
Location
The workshop will be held at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta SW - Peachtree City, conveniently located south of Atlanta in the heart of Peachtree City.

Wednesday Night Social
Join fellow attendees on Wednesday evening for a networking social. This will be a great opportunity to connect with GIS professionals, workshop instructors, sponsors, and peers in a relaxed setting after the first day of sessions.

| Scripting (Python/Arcade) | Intermediate | Learn how to automate and customize your GIS workflows using ArcGIS Arcade and Python. Gain hands-on experience creating expressions for labeling and symbology, automating GIS tasks with the ArcGIS API for Python, and building more efficient, repeatable workflows. |
| AI | Intermediate | Explore practical applications of AI in GIS through hands-on exercises using AI assistants and agents to enhance analysis, automate workflows, and improve everyday productivity. |
| Drones/UAS | All User Levels | Learn how to transform drone imagery and LiDAR into powerful 3D visualizations and analysis products using Esri technologies. Gain practical experience with post-processing workflows, 3D scene creation, ArcGIS Earth, and immersive geospatial visualization. |
| QGIS | Intro | Learn the fundamentals of QGIS 3.44 and discover how to work with LiDAR data to create DEMs, DTMs, and contours. Gain hands-on experience viewing, editing, mapping, and analyzing spatial data using powerful open-source GIS tools. |
