Frank J. Conkling, the owner and founder of Panda Consulting, a GIS Professional Services firm founded in 1998, is a highly skilled expert in GIS, Surveying, and Mapping technology. He knows a lot about mapping different types of land ownership. Since 1974, Frank has been deeply involved in GIS and Parcel Mapping, and he’s had the chance to study and help create some of the best GIS systems and most accurate land ownership databases in the country. As a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida and a licensed GIS Surveyor in South Carolina, Frank has made a big impact on the field. He was the Past President of the Florida Association of Cadastral Mappers, which focuses on cadastral mapping all over the state. Plus, he served on the Florida Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers, the group that oversees surveyors and mappers in the state.
